suggestions for use

apply the salve liberally to nappy rash when needed or daily as a barrier. it can be used as often as you require. use on sore noses, lips, chapped cheeks, cuts and grazes. many adults use our nappy salve on sore hands and as a moisturiser. the salve is rich and spreads easily making each pot last at least a month or more.
 
allergy advice

we recommend customers patch test on an unaffected area before use (leave for 24 hours) as some people may be allergic to herbs, oils or beeswax.
 
ingredients

olive fruit oil - calming and nourishing, anti-bacterial.
beeswax - a natural emulsifier. provides a protective base and keeps the skin moisturised.
safflower seed oil - soothing, excellent for sensitive skin.
hemp seed oil - extemely nourishing, moisturising, rich in essentialfatty acids (EFA's), which are often lacking with eczema and psoriasis suffers.
tinctures of
calendula - for tissue regeneration.
nettle - to reduce heat.
lavender - to calm and heal skin, anti-bacterial.

we do not use water to bulk out the products.

we use glass jars and bottles to avoid plastic tainting out products.

we do not test on animals.

we record and archive the specific batch number of each ingredient used within each batch of salves or oils made in line with soil association guidelines.

each product shows a best before date and a cooking batch code number.

best before dates

our salves remain effective, if kept cool for 30 months (2.5 years) and our oils remain effective, if kept cool for 18 months (1.5 years) - from the date of assembly.
